Welcome
Thank you for visiting the site for Morgan Fawcett and One Heart Creations. Within this site you will find Event dates and contact information, as well as photography of events and links to other informative sites.
One Heart Creations works to raise awareness for FASD (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders). I hope that you find all the information presented within this site helpful as well as useful. Please do enjoy pictures of the events and my own personal photography, my music, and if you would like me to come to your area please contact me on the Contact Us page. One Heart Creations is a Not for Profit or Social Enterprise, WE ARE NOT IN THIS TO MAKE MONEY. Everything made goes to travel and expenses, and a lot of the time personal funds must be pooled from both Roy and Sue Hempel as well as many others to cover the deficits.
Before you enter the website, there is one thing I would like you to know: I have a network of people that make my world go 'round and I love and respect every one of them. Without them I would not be where I am today. Each of them provides a different skill or form of support. This network is the key to my success. Truth be told it is the tactic that has helped many other children and adults with FASDs achieve the fullest of their potential. The following is a small portion of that help network that has proven so successful.
My grandparents Roy and Sue Hempel whom I live with full time, who take care of me on the days that I have meltdowns, as well as taking care of all my finances, and have never hesitated to cover any deficits that might come up in our travels.
My great-grandparents Tom and Cheryl Redmon have shown support from the start. If it was not for Grandpa Tom I would not be playing the flute, for he bought the very first. They were there for us when money was tight and never once complained when we have needed help on the road. My uncle Ric Iannolino, the man with the contacts, has helped me from the start. He has set up events, and helped in the planning of every FASD Awareness Week that was put on by One Heart Creations in Juneau. We cannot forget KJ and Peggy Metcalf, you both have been a big help.
Through the years flute makers have donated flutes to me so I can do workshops with the youth and for that I am thankful. You all have helped many children.
Also I want you all to know that my heroes are the women that come forward to get their children diagnosed with FASD. It takes tremendous amounts of courage to come forward and admit that they drank during pregnancy. WE are all thankful for that display of strength.
There are so many people to thank that I cannot name them all, so if I have not mentioned you I am sorry, you know who you are and your help is appreciated.
Roy and Sue Hempel, I love you both for all that you do, without you none of this would be possible.
I would like to thank my grandfather Roy for all that he does, without him we would not be able to travel as much as we do. When Grams and I leave Grandpa Roy stays home and holds down the fort. Plus without him many programs would not have happened. He has paid a lot out and we are not talking just money, but emotional support as well.
Thank you Gram, I love you so much, you make so much happen. This lady takes care of Grandpa Roy and I full time as well as all of the work that needs to be done For One Heart Creations, like booking lectures and concerts. What would we do without you Grams?
Ric Iannolino and KJ Metcalf I thank you both.
